About Lindylou's Childcare provision.

Rated Good in all areas by Ofsted, Lynne's priority is your satisfaction. Take advantage of Lynne's professionalism and years of experience in the field of education and childcare. In addition, she is trained in special needs education....particularly the care and education of children with ASD. She will take care of your child practically, emotionally, educationally and professionally, offering you peace of mind whilst you attend to work needs. You can come and take a look at Lynne's many certificates and qualifications, her policies and procedures and take away a sample contract to read through before making your decision. Settling in period is offered and Lynne has food hygiene, safeguarding and pedeatric first aid training.  Lynne holds a current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring certificate for both childcare and teaching. Her husband David also has an enhanced certificate.

Lynne has been a nanny, foster parent, approved adopter, playgroup supervisor and play therapist in her time as well as 10 years previous experience as a childminder and 10 years experience as a teacher. She has also been an adult education, college and university tutor/lecturer in counselling, psychology, childcare and development and education.

Now a grandmother herself, she can offer the warmth and patience of an older, more mature person.

Lynne enjoys the outdoors and can take your child out for walks, visits to the park, to the library, to soft play, out on picnics, visiting local farms and even take your child swimming with your permission. 

Lynne also enjoys baking and gardening, nature and animals, so there is opportunity for your child to participate in all these activities under supervision.

Of course, in the playroom there are craft activities, playdough, dolls and prams, ride on toys, cars and a garage, pretend food and cookery item's, train set, musical instruments, baby and toddler toys, jigsaws, literacy and maths activities and a safe outdoor play area with slide, small trampoline and other outside toys and equipment.

Lynne can provide insured and fully resourced car travel with appropriate seating for your child so that he or she can go on outings further afield. Lynne also has public liabiliity insurance and equipment such as pushchairs, highchair, booster seats, walkers, changing table, travel cots, bouncy chair and a playpen. So there is no need for you to bring an armful of "stuff" every day to accompany your child to the provision. Even nappies, baby food and milk can be provided, as well as meals and snacks for older children. 

 Lynne is dedicated to constant improvement and enhancement of her service. Each child is valued and the family a respected customer, and an opportunity for Lynne to tailor the delivery of her service.
